Over 100 artists submitted their drawings to theydrawandcook.com. It is possibly the most interesting recipe book I own. As an added bonus, most of the recipes are quick and easy! Their sister site, theydrawandtravel.com is also one of my favorites.
Wildwood: The Wildwood Chronicles
Wildwood is a children’s book with beautiful illustrations by Carson Ellis. I am not ashamed to say that I most certainly bought this book for the 5 beautifully illustrated pages inside. (Also a bonus: Scan the artwork, print and frame for instant art!)
Farm Anatomy: The Curious Parts and Pieces of Country Life
Who knew learning about soil, tools and types of chickens could be so interesting? The layouts and typography complement Julia Rothman’s unique illustration style and make the book worth checking out even if you have no immediate plans to become a farmer.
